LOCATION CHANGE? So specifically Tacos El Gordo has some amazing food and my family and I ate from there for years because it was tasty, service was great, food was affordable, business was consistent about their hours, and to top it all off they were close (Chestnut and Gettysburg). But for about a year now it's been a different taco stand that posts up there sometimes, did Tacos El Gordo change locations? The new shop goes by Cheli's Tacos, we don't really go because it's not the service we want. Unless they completely rebranded with an entirely new staff and name, but we know for a fact we don't recognize anyone at the new truck.

I went to grab food before work and although they were busy I waited no longer than 20 min for my food. Their sauces are the best. The red had a kick and the green is more flavorful, a perfect pair. I've had their quesadillas and asada burritos

I can't say enough about how yummy their food is. Truly though the owners and staff are so nice and just as awesome as the food. They came through in a pinch. We lost a family member and this was his favorite taco truck. They blessed us with their food and presence. Forever grateful.

Very good food! The food was prepared well and seemed very clean. Their quesadillas are so good and packed with meat. Their red salsa was really good too, spicy but still enjoyably and delicious. Will definitely be returning for more.

The tacos are delicious and they always have a variety of meat. I hate when I go to taco trucks and try to order tripas or cabeza and they always tell me that they're out. It happens way too often, but not here. The food is always so hot and fresh and has plenty of flavor. The workers are so sweet and very friendly. Definitely my favorite taco truck. I will always go out of my way to come here for a good bite to eat.
